The Reflections Memory Care Program at Potomac Place offers a fresh approach to memory care. Specialized training, careful selection of caregivers, and a resident-focused philosophy are the hallmarks of the Reflections program.
Employees participating in the Reflections program must complete an intensive 15-hour training course. This in-depth training—along with individualized resident care plans, the specialized environment of the Rose Memory Care Center, and the Daily Fare life enrichment schedule—sets the Reflections program apart.
Our team uses the latest therapeutic approaches, incorporating reminiscence, art, music, pet therapies, and sensory stimulation into daily activities. We aim to enhance resident engagement, provide opportunities for success based on individual abilities, and foster positive relationships among residents, families, and caregivers.
About the Logo: The Reflections logo symbolizes the meaning of “reflection” and represents the forget-me-not flower. Several folklore legends tie the flower to the idea of “not forgetting” the love and devotion of a dear one or Christ’s love for His children. The color blue, representing trust, calm, and peace, further enhances this symbolism.
